Hello, my name is Josie Azocar, and I am originally from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

There, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and had the opportunity to work in the finance department at Nokia.

Although my journey was not always easy, I learned that perseverance can open doors that often seem impossible.

During my transition, while attending university and working at a beauty salon to support myself, I experienced some of the most difficult moments of my life. On two separate occasions, while on my way to class, I was arrested by the police simply for being a transgender woman. At that time, our identity was considered an "offense against public morals," and I was detained for 24 hours each time. Those experiences were painful, but they also strengthened my character and reinforced my determination to never let others define who I was or how far I could go.

After graduating, I discovered a true passion for the beauty industry. I built my career as a hairstylist and had the opportunity to work with prestigious brands such as Lancôme and Estée Lauder, where I gained valuable experience in leadership, customer service, and team management.

However, my true mission began in 2019 when I realized I was not the only transgender woman struggling to find gender-affirming garments that were comfortable, secure, and accessible. Instead of accepting the problem, I decided to create a solution, and that is how TUCKITUPPP was born.

What started as a simple idea has grown into a brand offering multiple products designed to support transgender women and members of our community. More importantly, it became much more than a business—it became a purpose. My goal has always been to help others feel seen, represented, confident, and empowered.

Through this journey, I have had the privilege of collaborating with models, photographers, influencers, transgender celebrities, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of our community. I have also served as a sponsor, collaborator, and judge for national and international pageants, always striving to create more opportunities for visibility, representation, and inclusion.

Today, I am deeply honored to serve as Co-Director of Miss International Queen Mexico.

To me, this organization represents far more than a beauty pageant. It is a platform to celebrate our stories, recognize our talents, and demonstrate that transgender women deserve spaces where we can shine with pride, dignity, and authenticity.

As an entrepreneur, advocate, and transgender woman, my commitment remains the same: to create opportunities, open doors, and help ensure that future generations have a path that is a little easier than the one so many of us had to navigate.

If I could leave you with one message, it would be this: never allow anyone else to define your limits. I come from a border town, from a community that has often faced discrimination and marginalization, yet I have been able to build my own opportunities, one step at a time.

If I could do it, so can you. Dream boldly, work with passion, lift up those who come after you, and never forget that your story has the power to inspire change.
